Mission & History
The Chattahoochee Valley Down Syndrome Association serves to enhance the lives of all individuals with Down syndrome by providing information and support to the individuals, their families and the professionals working with them. Our group educates the community to promote acceptance, respect and inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome.
CVDSA was formed in 2002 as a 501(c)3 organization by a group of parents within the Columbus, Georgia area. It has grown from a parent support group into a community resource for families and professionals within the Down syndrome community.
There is no cost to join as a member of CVDSA. Our most important resource is our network of knowledgable parents!
